  • Communicate clearly with internal team members to resolve questions or missing information
  • Research parts, components, and pricing through distributors and manufacturer programs
  • Build and maintain estimating worksheets that support accurate, repeatable quotes
  • Learn and grow understanding of TEC’s automation solutions, processes, and customers over time

Research & Attention to Detail

This role requires thorough research and careful attention to accuracy, including:

  • Parts research: Identifying correct components, verifying specifications, and confirming availability through distributors and manufacturer catalogs.
  • Pricing accuracy: Navigating discount structures, distributor options, and manufacturer programs to build accurate and competitive quotes.
  • Worksheet development: Building clear, well-organized estimating worksheets that can be reviewed and reused.
  • Proposal quality: Producing professional, customer-facing documents that reflect well on TEC and clearly communicate scope, pricing, and assumptions.
  • Verification: Double-checking quantities, part numbers, and pricing before finalizing quotes.

We provide guidance on scope and technical requirements through our engineering team. Your job is to turn that direction into accurate, polished estimates and proposals.
